January 26, 2008 Stan was asked to do a presentation about his experiences. The presentation was held at the St. Cajetan's Center on the Metro State College campus in downtown Denver Colorado.The 4 hour presentation started at 2:00 PM. At about 4:00 PM, Stan suggested that everyone take a ten minute break to stretch there legs and get something to drink. As the audience wandered outside to enjoy the sunshine, some of the people in the crowd noticed two to three objects hovering high up in the sky. A majority of the people could see them, while others could not. Stan himself was to busy inside preparing for the next part of his talk, and did not see anything. Among the witnesses was a well known author named J Allan Danelek. Many of the witnesses including Mr. Danelek described seeing two or more objects darting around. The people in the crowd that had binoculars or telephoto lenses had a much better view of the objects. Mr. Danelek being somewhat of a skeptic was more than a little surprised by what he was seeing. April 25, 2008 While working in his front yard, Stan noticed what he thought was an airplane tumbling out of the sky. Very concerned Stan yelled for his wife who was sitting in the back yard talking with a family friend. Stan became very concerned that this thing was going to crash into his house. Stan ran out into the street to try and get a safe distance from the house just incase. Just as he was about to run to the back yard to warn his wife the object stopped in mid air and started slowly moving north. Once Stan realized that this was a UFO and he ran into the house and grabbed his camera. Stan described the UFO as being a large cylindrical object, that was reddish in color, and made no sound as it flew. |
May 15, 2008 1:30 PM Mr Romanek was in his kitchen loading the dishwasher when he noticed one of their cats standing on the step hissing at something near the upstairs bathroom. Looking towards the bathroom Stan noticed what he describes as a shimmering disturbance at the top of the stairs. As if he where looking at heat rising up from an asphalt road on a hot summer day. Making sure that his eyes weren't playing tricks on him Stan went to get his camera. He was able to take two pictures before the batteries in his camera went dead. Even though he wasn't unable to see it directly, Stan's camera was able to capture this shadowy figure at the top of the stairs. |
May 22, 2008 Late in the morning while Stan Romanek was working in his office he heard what sounded like a low pitched humming coming from the family room down the hall. Stan got up to see where the sound was coming from and was surprised to see the TV remote floating in midair. He again noticed a slight shimmer behind the floating remote. Stan quickly grabbed his camera and took pictures. |
May 27, 2008 Hissing noises where coming from the upstairs living room as if Stan's cats where startled by something. While investigating the noise, a shimmering form was noticed in the corner of the living room, Stan observed that the cats were not frightned and that they were interacting with the anomaly. A renowned Paranormal Investigator's camera was used to take these pictures. |

June 2, 2008 Mr. Stan Romanek Colorado Dear Stan, We would like to thank you very much for giving us the opportunity to conduct an official investigation in your home as well as your gracious hospitality. The series of seven photographs you provided us of the “shadow” image taken in your home several weeks ago certainly caught our attention. It should be understood that when we examined these photographs with the forensic tools we have at our disposal, we could not find a suitable explanation for the anomaly and believe them to be quite compelling—especially since the DSLR Canon PowerShot S3-IS camera we provided you captured the last three images of the same anomalies. This eliminated any possibility that your Sony DSC-S730 camera had malfunctioned. As experienced paranormal investigators we always approach our investigations methodically and systematically. However, as the events over the weekend quickly unfolded, we found that it had turned into something unlike anything we had ever experienced before. Never before have I nor any of my colleagues on the team ever seen so many paranormal events happening so quickly and over such a short period of time. Following are some of the more noteworthy events that occurred: 1) On Monday afternoon, at approximately 17:30 the 26th of May, the kitchen cold water faucet came on by itself. No one present was responsible. 2) On Thursday afternoon at approximately 15:30 the 29th of May (within 45 minutes of arrival), we captured an Anomalous Voice Recording (AVR) while Stan was reviewing our team web site. 3) On Saturday afternoon at approximately 15:45, the kitchen cold water faucet again came on by itself in the presence of Doug Kelley (ParaNexus Co-Founder and SPIRITeam Founder) and your step-son, Jake. 4) Throughout Saturday afternoon from approximately 14:00 – 16:30 the family room television came on by itself a total of four times within a two hour period seemingly of its own volition. We collected all five remote controls after the first event and placed them on the kitchen counter where they could be monitored—thus eliminating the possibility of accidental or intentional activation. 5) Doug Kelley’s laptop computer lid mysteriously closed Saturday afternoon at approximately 16:15 all by itself while a paranormal research colleague from Florida was on-line with Skype watching it close on video. No one was in the house at the time the event occurred. 6) Around 22:00, the entire investigation team (Jari Mikkola – ITSPP, Doug Kelley – SPIRITeam, Kristen Hiatt – ITSPP, and Rick Nelson – ITSPP) including Stan Romanek stepped outside for a break. At 22:15, we witnessed a UFO event consisting of approximately seven objects streaking directly over your house in a staggered “V” formation. Some members also witnessed at least one additional UFO sighting a short while later. Both of these sightings were spectacular and at least one defied known laws of physics. Because we set up four cameras and captured several dozen hours of video, audio, and photo files, we will need approximately two to three weeks to properly evaluate it. Once completed, our Case Manager, Kristen Hiatt, will contact you to schedule an appointment in order to provide you with copies of any evidence we find. We appreciate the opportunity to review much of the evidence you’ve collected over the years including the “peeping tom” video in its entirety. As objective researchers involved in an ongoing investigation, we find your experiences, your candor, and your evidence to be compelling. Thank you for also taking us into your trust.
